Mission Organize My Life...

So I have been on this major mission to get organized and get my life in order now that I am a stay at home mom and about to have #3. I have had my mom SO busy. Brad was out of town this past weekend so I made this weekend our "complete everything" weekend. We took things one room at a time and finished all the projects we had to do. I took it a lot easier than my mom because she was a work horse and gave up so much of her time to help me. We started in the boys room sorting clothing and putting everything into their own dressers. We made a sock and undies drawer, school/nice pants and shorts drawer, a play clothes drawer, and a jammie drawer for each one of them. Then we seperated their closet and got it completely organized and cleaned out. Most of this day I sat and sorted the clothes etc. After getting their room in order we moved into the baby room and got the entire closet organized- clothing hung up and dresser loaded with all the necessary stuff for this little one. I decided to use the crib bedding that I made for my other two boys as it goes well in the nursery. Most of this stuff also required me to sit and just sort clothing etc.

Over the next few days we moved room to room.. My mom painted the entire playroom. We got my bathroom and the boys bathroom painted and cleaned out. We then sorted all the playroom toys and stuff and got storage containers for the toys with pieces etc. We have not yet put everything in the boxes they will go in, but I am working to establish a system where the boys ask for a box and when they are done and it is cleaned up they can have the next box they want. I cant have toys all over the place or I am going to be uptight and my kids can make quite the mess! My laundry room got straightened, my bedroom got completely cleaned out and we sorted clothes and came up with a temporary system until I can put maternity clothing away and also until we get a dresser for our room. It has been a lot of work. Everything is in complete order now and basically I feel ready if baby were to arrive soon. It feels so good to have everything done at this point.
