It has been a crazy week. My last update I was on rest for a few days. I went to my dr. appointment and my doctor wanted to immediately do an ultrasound to check on the baby. My blood pressure is still high and keeps creeping up higher and higher while I am at rest. This is not a good thing and can stress the baby. She put me on full bed rest. Tomorrow I will go to the doctor for a non-fetal stress test and my doctor is also going to check and see if I have dilated at all. I will be shocked if I haven't at all because I have been having a lot of contractions ever since last Thursday. She will also make a decision tomorrow about induction.
Now let me tell you what my wonderful mom did. Monday my mom and dad were supposed to fly to Texas for a couple of days for my dad to have a meeting and then they were headed out to California to see my brother and his kids and also go on a camping trip with them. This trip was planned with the thoughts that I would have the baby on time giving them plenty of time to get back before he was born. Well when my mom found out that I was put on full bed rest and knew I would need some help she just couldn't leave. She cancelled the trip to stay and help me. I am so thankful to have her here to help with my boys and allow me to rest. She has gone above and beyond for me and I can't thank her enough. She came over to my house and did laundry, cleaning doors, vacuuming, cleaning bathrooms etc. My house is sparkling clean!
Also I owe a special thank you to my brother and his wife and kids as I know they were excited about this trip and seeing mom and dad. So I am thankful they are so understanding of all of this. Luckily my parents will be able to go back out there at the end of October.
As of now I am still on the couch and I am starting to get bored. Tomorrow will be nice to get out of the house.
