36 Weeks -9 Months!
Pregnancy Highlights:
How Far Along: 36 weeks - about 28 days to go.
Total Weight Gain: too much
Maternity Clothes: My belly is starting to poke out the bottom of my maternity shirts. I am in no way about to go buy more as our little guy is so close to arriving.

Best Moment of the Week: This week the best moment is really just that the baby is healthy and doing well. I got to have an ultrasound and see him. I didn't get any good pictures from the ultrasound but I got to see his little face. He was turned to where he was looking straight at the screen so I could see his whole face. He is so cute. He is also pretty little still. As of Tuesday he weighed 5lbs 6oz according to the ultrasound.
Gender: Boy!
What is going on with the Baby: His main job now is to gain weight. He gets lots of hiccups these days.
Whats Going on with Mother: Well this week has been crazy! I went to my 35 week appointment and my blood pressure was way to high. My blood pressure was something over/90. So started the crazy week of mandatory rest. I tracked my blood pressure and it would be fine as long as I was sitting still doing nothing. If i got up to do simple tasks like getting up to take a shower and then walk to the mailbox and it shot up to something like 156/99. On Wednesday night I noticed my urine was a bit dark but didn't think too much about it. In the morning I woke up with bright red urine. I immediately called the doctor which turned into me spending the day at the hospital under watch. They treated me for a sever UTI but it takes 24 hours to grow the cultures so I won't know if that is actually what is going on until Monday. I could also have a kidney infection, kidney stone, or some other kind of infection. Needless to say it was a full day of unexpected events. I have been put on full rest until monday when I have another appointment. Today after a quick shower (not even washing my hair) and getting dressed, then going to the mailbox to put some letters in, I went back inside and checked my blood pressure and it was 113/101! It is pretty frustrating for me to sit still but I have been getting a lot of help from my family.

Baby is size of: A crenshaw melon (not sure what that is) almost 6 lbs and 18 1/2 inches long. He should be gaining around an ounce a day. I will be full term next friday! He is already head down (my doctor will confirm this at my appointment at 37 weeks.
Movement :He loves to put his butt up in the air and make my stomach stick way up in the air.
Cravings: I have just wanted cereal a lot lately. It just seems to hit the spot.
What I miss:Well this week I miss being able to get up and do simple tasks.

What I am looking forward to:Holding my sweet little boy. I am ready to meet him!
Symptoms: Some lower back pain, and then all these other things going on with me right now.
