Here we are again on the edge of saying goodbye to 2012 and Hello to 2013. I am ready for this new year. A fresh start and a place to begin new things. I don't make tons of resolutions to stick to etc. because I know I don't keep them. Last year I started the year off so well. I joined weight watchers and had lost 16 lbs and was feeling great and then on Feb 9th... Wham! I found out I was pregnant. I didn't realize that you can stick with the program when pregnant, they just change things up a bit. I canceled my membership and went from there. I was too sick this last pregnancy to try and eat well. Everything made me want to throw up and nothing sounded good to eat. So here I am now post pregnancy with an almost 3 month old. The holidays are over and I am ready to begin again. New years is my starting point to once again get this baby and pregnancy weight off. I will officially weigh in tomorrow morning to know my starting weight, but I know I have at least 50 lbs to lose. I started last year at 177 and I think from this pregnancy I have an extra 9 lbs to go. I will know for sure tomorrow. I have a plan and I am motivated to get this done. I want to feel comfortable and look good again. Not only that, but I want to be healthy.
I have a few other things I have up my sleeve that I would like to look into this year. Some with volunteer work, possibly joining MOPS or Mentor Moms, doing a few cakes possibly for money this time and I would like to open an Etsy shop at some point. This may not all work out or happen ths year, but we will see. One of my goals each year is to read more. So this year my goal is going to be 15 books. I am excited to get going on this new year.

Sara T and I are a part of an AM2PM group (Affirming and mentoring to preschool moms) at Southside Fellowship. We're doing a book this semester called "Mama's Got a Fake ID". They provide childcare too. Just throwing out options for your MOPS idea.
