Today I went around town for who knows how long with my zipper wide open. This was not because I forgot to zip it... nope, my zipper broke right in the middle of the zipper and split it wide open. There is no telling how many people probably thought "poor girl doesn't know her zipper is down." I am taking the pants back to the store though because I just bought them and now they have humiliated me.
So I decided to be domestic today. I have wanted to make some things that I just haven't made myself get around to doing, so today was my day and I decided to do it. I stared with my homemade chicken stock. When I have a rotisserie chicken I will clean the meat off and put the rest in the crock pot with some onions, garlic, salt, pepper, celery and then fill it up with water and let it cook on low for many hours or overnight. The house smells amazing when I do this and it gives me 12 cups of broth. Well I also decided to make yogurt. I am excited to see how it turns out. I spend a fortune on yogurt for my boys. They eat it like it is going out of style and it gets expensive. I will do a whole post on the yogurt tomorrow. I am excited to see how it turns out. On top of all of that I made two loaves of bread and two meals. One I sent with my mother in law to Brad's grandmother and the other was for our family for dinner. I am trying to get into a good habit of a cooking routine, but I need to sit down and plan out our meals like I used to do. It works out so much better for me if I do that.
My domestic day was good, but tomorrow is going to be centered on the kids. We are having lunch with my mother in law and then we are going to get a membership for our children's museum and meet a friend to play there for a little bit. It is supposed to be nice weather tomorrow so I am hopeful for some outside time as well. We will see how it all goes.
