New Me... post 1.

So today begins Weight Watchers. Yay! I am looking forward to starting it and this time being able to continue the program. I know how to work the program without joining so I am going to try it on my own. I can't track as easily as I could if I had joined but I think I can do it

So previously I got 26 points a day to use. However because I am nursing I have to make sure I have enough nutrients to be able to produce enough for Elijah. So with weight watchers you add 14 points when nursing. That is a lot of points! I am going to have to figure out how to get 40 points without eating junk. I think I will just increase my portion sizes for the meals I have planned out.

The hardest meals for me are breakfast and Lunch. Lunch being the worst to come up with meals that are healthy and quick. My goal this time is to make meals for dinner with plenty of left overs for me to have the next day. I think this is going to be key for me to be able to do well with the program.

One other thing I really want to do is exercise this time. I thought about joining 9Round, or a gym again, but I think I am going to start out by going to my moms on tuesday and thursday (while the kids are in school) and using her tredmill or eliptical. Brad and I talked about how this is really a mental game as well because I have to make the decision before I started all this, that I am going to do this and I am going to get healthy. I have to change my mindset in order to do it.

So here is to the start of a new me. I also don't mind sharing the details so here it goes.

Starting post pregnancy weight- 186.5 lbs (yikes)
Goal- (130 lbs)
Amount to lose: 56.5 lbs to lose (seems like so much)
