The weather outside is freezing. We are in for the lowest temperatures in two decades. The high tomorrow night is 5 degrees. The boys are back to school tomorrow and I think we will all be happier. Caleb NEEDS a schedule and a routine. We have not had either of those things since Christmas break began. The boys have been fighting a lot latelty and I think that they will benefit from a little break during the day from each other.
I am still doing well with being a calm mother and not yelling at the kids. It feels so much better, but I have to be very conscious of what I say before I say it and how it comes out of my mouth. I don't want to be a stressed out mother who doesn't enjoy being with her kids because I am stressed. If I could go back and re-do and still have Caleb, I would have put another year between Benjamin and Caleb. Just to give them more space.
This weekend was a lazy cold, rainy weekend. We had a little family basketball tournament on the boys new indoor basketball game and then built different forts with a fort kit they got from Grandpa.
I have been staying up way too late and now I have to start getting used to getting up at 6:45 to get the kids ready for school in the mornings.
This month I have to make the decision if I am going to sign Elijah up for the young 2's program next year. He won't be 2 until October, but I already talked to the principal and she said because he is a 3rd child she would put him in the young two's program if I decided to do it. I am just not sure what I want to do yet.
So tomorrow begins my 60 day challenge. I start making sure I eat well and I will replace 1 meal a day with shakology. I will also force myself to exercise daily. My goal is to reach my healthy weight range for my height by February 28th. This is when I go back to my OBGYN for my yearly appointment and I want so bad to be 149 or less. This is the top of the healthy weight range for me and I would still have 24 lbs to go once I reach that. Tuesday I am supposed to get p90x3 and that will be my mail source of exercise. I want to get back to running, but running in the cold is NOT fun to me.
So here is to the new me in 2014!
