Soccer started in March this year and it was COLD when it started. The poor kids were freezing. This was Caleb's first time playing and Benjamin's second. Caleb had a little more care free time on the field. He was often doing somersaults or trying to do karate kicks and flips. It was pretty amusing to watch him. Sometimes you had to remind him to keep playing. He was just being Caleb. Benjamin was a bit more serious, and a bit more cautious. He would be aggressive and go after the ball great in practice, and when it was game time it seemed like he would be so cautious going after the ball or go so far after it and then just let the other person take it. It was hard for me to not be competitive on the sidelines. A few times Brad reminded me "Lauren they are only six years old." OOPS! Boys you are in for it when you get into sports more. We had a fun season. Caleb's team won all but 1 game, and Benjamin's poor team never won a game this year. All in all everyone had fun and both boys earned trophies which was a BIG deal!
