A quarter of a century...

Well I finally turned 25. I am officially in my mid 20's. My birthday was on Thursday (the 23rd) but we didn't celebrate it until this weekend because I was in class until 10pm on Thursday night. Friday night Brad had made reservations at the melting pot fondue restaurant (my all time favorite place to eat). When we got there he had roses waiting on the table. It was so sweet. We had a wonderful night with a full 4 course meal of Cheese fondue, salads, meat and veggie fondue and then the chocolate fondue. It was wonderful.

After we got home from dinner Brad gave me my gift, which was a little toy dog with a note around its neck saying that whenever I am ready, I can turn in the ticket for a real puppy. He knows how much I want a dog and now that we are getting our own home we are going to be able to get one. I just can't decide when to get a dog... Now... or sometime after the baby has arrived (probably around spring). Of course I want to get it now, but the practical side of me is saying to wait until after the baby has arrived and we start adjusting to our lives being changed.

On Saturday, Brad told me my birthday was continuing and we went to the mountains for the night. It was so nice just to get away an stay somewhere just for a night. We love the mountains so driving on the blueridge parkway was beautiful as usual and then we went to Asheville and ate dinner and just walked around town. We spent the night in Hendersonville and got up this morning and went to breakfast at a little place downtown that used to be a pharmacy. It was a wonderful birthday thanks to my wonderful husband.
