Day 4: Cadillac Ranch

 Day 4:

I had the hardest time waking up this morning. My body was saying "you need more sleep" I ended up dozing back off a few times. When we finally got up, Caleb had gotten up, cleaned up the sleeping stuff for himself, Eden and Elijah and had made oatmeal for all of them. We got packed up and loaded up and got on the road around 9:15 am.  We headed to Cadillac Ranch to start off our day with a little legal graffiti. This is in Amarillo, TX.

There are 10 Cadillacs sticking up out of the ground in the middle of a cow pasture. You pull off the side of the road and just walk down to them. We bought spray paint before we left Greenville so we had it with us. The wind was starting to pick up again as well.

The cars were really fun to see and there are SO MANY layers of spray paint. The kids had fun spraying them. They got spray paint all over themselves as well. The wind didn't help in splattering it back at them.

Eden had to have help with hers and she was not happy about it. She wanted to do it like a big girl.

Eden was pouting because she wanted to do it all by herself.

Look at all the layers of spray paint that have just dripped down over the years.

Cadillac Ranch was so simple, but so fun to go to and to see. The kids enjoyed spray painting the cars as well. This was our only real activity for the day today. The rest would be a day of driving. Luckily it was not a full day of driving.
